Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and sharing the beauty of Boudoir with me!

My name is Steph and I am local to the Goulburn Valley region. I'm passionate about celebrating women - their goals, achievements, what makes them who they are and celebrating their bodies for everything it goes through. I find Boudoir Photography is a beautiful and sensual way to celebrate a woman and all her worth - allowing her to feel empowered and to boost her confidence to levels we didn't know existed.

In between celebrating women and creating boudoir magic, I'm a country girl rocking the cowgirl boots (even at sessions I'm still wearing them..), cranking the country music and busting a few uncoordinated dance moves.. (when the camera is put away!!)

Boudoir photography is surrounding the concept of positive body image, empowering women and gaining a more positive mindset toward their own body confidence. Seeing the best in the "imperfections" and being happy, comfortable and confident in YOU and not trying to change in-spite of what the media tries to portray as "the better body".

Boudoir is severely underrated in our area and I aim to build trust within our community to capture women in their best light.

You are beautiful girl, just the way you are.

Unfortunately our world revolves around being the skinniest or having the best curves. However, we know we can't always be "picture-perfect". Whether you're a curvy girl, insecure in your skin or a tired mumma, boudoir photography is for you to boost your confidence.

No two bodies are the same.. Let's make that clear.

Normalise finding comfort in the skin you're in. Normalise gaining confidence to go out and wear what you want and not based on what you might need to cover up or disguise, purely based on what society expects of us.

It's a fresher way to look at yourself rather than looking in the mirror and picking out all of the "imperfections" defined by society.

My dream is to pursue boudoir photography as a career - to have a relationship with my community, having you strive to be your best self, for your own happiness and satisfaction. To boost your confidence, be the difference in your world and how you see yourself.

P R O J E C T ?

I created the "Love Thy Body Project" in February 2022 as a way of promoting and celebrating all bodies and their stories.

As an individual, it is hard to navigate life through all its leaps and bounds - in all walks of life, all while media avenues promote "the perfect body", "how to get bikini-body ready this summer!", "ways you can guarantee weight loss in 10 days!", not to mention all of the editing and photoshopping that goes on behind the scenes that falsely depicts the "perfect" body type.

It's sad to think that in 2022 this is still where we are at.

Although, there are some brands that are starting to showcase more NORMAL bodies and minimising the use of drastic photoshop editing.

The concept of this project has been a vision of mine from the beginning of my photography journey. The easing of "rona" restrictions toward the end of 2021 meant that I could start considering bringing this project to life.

To say I'm proud.. is an understatement.

The advertisement read:

"I'm looking for a group of local women of all body types, shapes, sizes, ages, etc. to get together in their lingerie and help showcase and celebrate all normal bodies."

I posted this everywhere I knew I could, with the expectation that it may take months to find the 10 women who were willing to help my vision come to life.

In 24hrs, I had over DOUBLE the expressions of interest.

*MIND BLOWN*

So my dream exploded into two groups of glowing women willing to promote and celebrate their body types.

The results speak for themselves.
